Thorough Expert Personable
Have seen Dr Ward for years and recommended to family and friends but last visit he made leave crying. I’m not a thin skinned person or easy to cry but he told me “ I don’t know what else you want me to do ?” He was rude, irritable and left me thinking there was no treatment other than knee replacement and his exact words “ you’re knee really isn’t that bad “ even though it’s worse than before the arthroscopy surgery. Dr Ward may be a great doctor but when you need to see him because pain is worse and you need a knee injection they will not work you in even though you are a patient. This isn’t right. Called and tried to get apt for injection and was told no apt available for two weeks for injection. This was unacceptable. I wasn’t asking for an apt that same day but thinking I should have been seen with two or three days. The person I talked to didn’t even seem to care.

Very straightforward and very personal guy, speaks with you eye to eye, telling you facts without sugar coating them!
I have had 2 surgeries done by Dr. Ward and would not want any other ortho doctor to handle my troubles. Such a nice man and a GREAT surgeon.
