I came in for an emergency extraction several weeks ago. As I was frozen I can’t say the initial experience was unsatisfactory, however, after 11 days of excruciating pain, swelling, fever and the feeling of something sharp protruding from the extraction site, I discovered that a large shard of the extracted tooth (it had been sectioned) had been lodged and left behind in the side of my gums.
