Dr. Baxter is an excellent surgeon. His bedside manner is on point, and he took great care in making sure my new scars are hardly visible, and fixed my very broken rotator cuff. I highly recommend him!
I was given Dr. Baxter through workers comp and had no say in who I got but I couldn’t be happier with the decision. Throughout the entire process before surgery I was told I would be on crutches for 2 weeks to 1 month but when I woke up I was told I was able to walk same day which was such a blessing given that my wedding was on that Saturday. This man is the best orthopedic in Tennessee.
Dr. Baxter preformed a distal biceps repair using a cortical button on my left arm. I injured it at work. The surgery was roughly 4 weeks ago. Luckily I went to a Sports Orthopedic Walk-in Clinic when it happened and was diagnosed almost immediately. So it was right at two weeks after the injury that I had my surgery. When I had my accident my wrist was in so many places it shouldn’t be.. Dr Baxter did an amazing job. Every thing is doing wonderful and healed.. I also broke my pelvic… I really never thought I would walk again?? But over time amen I’m walking and moving really well. Still have a way to go but I can be patient and take it slow for awhile… Dr Baxter is a great man, his kindness and compassion is wonderful…
Mac Baxter is extremely knowledgeable, a good listener and an excellent surgeon. He has helped me with trigger finger and wrist issues, a tumor on my arm, a painful knee cap issue he repaired and fractured ankle. He has also fixed a son's severely broken wrist and another son’s broken collarbone. Over the years, Dr. Baxter had been our “go to” doctor for almost anything medical, but always for anything related to orthopedics. I always highly recommend him first to anyone with an orthopedic issue!
