Dr. Koli is professional. She listens actively to what I have to say, so she can treat me accordingly.
My new patient appointment was scheduled for 11:00AM. I was sent at 12:30PM. She prescribed me something at an extremely low dosage that isn't typically used for my illness. When I asked questions, she didn't give clear answers. She talked a lot in half sentences. On my follow-up, when I started closely questioning what she was prescribing and what her plans for the future were, she hustled me out of her office after writing me scripts for several different medications that I didn't actually need. I was in and out in less t... read more
Misdiagnosed and drugged out of my head. She would have me on about 6 different psychiatric medications at the same time, and when that particular combo didn't work, she'd switch more than one cold-turkey, blaming any withdrawal symptoms on my "illness", which as I said was misdiagnosed in the first place. This valedictorian was unable to function under her "care"--think drooling and shuffling. Her office staff were very rude. If you are a Dr. Koli patient and having trouble healing--it's not you or your illness. Do whatever... read more
Rude receptionist who is constantly complaining and is negative all the time and hates to answer the phone. Dr. Koli has the worst bed side manner of any health care professional I have ever met and her nurse practitioner is not much better. They talk to you like children and belittle you for not following their instructions. They are never in the office on time and are constantly running late. The receptionist had the audacity to complain about the state of insurance and politics to patients. Keep that to yourself.
Dr. Koli does not listen to her patients. When you sit in front of her explaining what is going with you, you can tell she is not listening. All she is thinking about is what crazy meds she is going to put you on. I went to her letting her know that I wanted to quit taking the meds that we making me a zombie, she lied to me saying that I could detox. She convinced me to check into the hospital to detox. After I was sent to the hospital, all had change she had prescribed five new meds for me, when I refused to take them, I wa... read more
My son went to Dr. Koli for the first time recently. He watied in the office 3 hours past his appt time, before finally seeing the dr. The receptionist said this was typical and to plan for the wait. I was shocked. The receptionist was loud and rude to every patient that walked in. She announced patients names, lab work and even the social security # of one patient for everyone to hear. I felt there was total lack of respect for the patients time (by the dr), not to mention their privacy. The dr and the PA were in office and... read more
Dr. Koli did help me somewhat during the time that I saw her. However, she really seemed to buy into the whole multiple personality craze that was happening in the 1990's and early 2000's. I know some people who saw her for what she said was that condition, who now have moved onto other psychiatrists who have totally changed their diagnoses. I do know that she has been in trouble with her licensing board for not following a hospital patient properly, and mismanaging his medications.
