Dr. Mak is truly the best doctor in Canada! He provides excellent care and professional advice for my two young kids. Whenever they are really sick, he always makes time—even working overtime—to see them. He may not be overly warm toward parents, but he is always kind and friendly with the kids, which matters most. We are very grateful for his dedication and expertise!

He lifted up my shirt halfway and he put his hand under my shirt on my chest with his hands inside. Without my permission, that’s harassment. He’s very rude. I’ve Been a patient of him since 2014. I haven’t seen him since 2018 hoping his attitude would change, but it got worse. His English and Chinese is horrible . If you can’t understand his Chinese he will scream “WHY CANT YOU HEAR ME?!” In a broken mandarin accent. We visited this pediatrician once out of curiosity, based on the negative reviews and unfortunately, they were accurate. He mumbled throughout the appointment, avoided eye contact, and showed little to no interest in what he was doing. We transferred to another doctor afterwards.
Just spoke to Lin in this office to ask if the pediatrician accepts newborn babies or not and she insisted not to answer my question unless a referral is sent from my OB first. Does that even make sense? I can get my OB to send a referral IF you accept new patients. But why would I waste everyone's time if you don't accept new patients to start with. Extremely disappointed 😞
