Dr. Fotuhi is someone you meet that is once in a lifetime. He is not only an extraordinary Neurologist, he truly cares about his patients and their families. It is Dr. Fotuhi's mission to heal those experiencing chronic head pain and determine the best path forward to achieve a healthy, pain-free future. Dr. Fotuhi's calm disposition, empathy, and kindness make him one of the most treasured individuals you will ever meet. He is a blessing beyond words and has changed our lives for the better.
I recently completed a treatment program at Dr. Fotuhi’s practice for post concussive syndrome. He is an expert on brain health and memory. He is also incredibly compassionate and invested in his patients’ success. This is also true of all members of his staff. I made a full recovery under his care. His treatment plan is intense and addressed physical, cognitive, nutritional and psychological needs. I will always be thankful that I was referred to his practice.
Dr. Fotuhi more than merits his tremendous reputation. My daughter suffered five concussions on school playgrounds and in PE. Her pediatrician referred her to Inova Mount Vernon's excellent Concussion Clinic. Given her concussion history and the severity of the most recent concussion, the clinic referred her to Dr. Fotuhi, speaking of him in terms best characterized as reverence and awe. My daughter's successful treatment attests to the tremendous abilities of Dr. Fotuhi and his NeuroGrow team.
Dr. Fotuhi brings intellect, compassion, expertise & much more to the table. He deeply cares about his patients and it can be rare these days to find a doctor of his caliber. At the point that I had first walked into NeuroGrow, I had been from doctor to doctor who had conveniently brushed me off without any hope or plan to address my symptoms. My experience at NeuroGrow was meaningfuly different. I consider myself lucky to have found a practice that has been instrumental in my healing process!
The staff at Neurogrow is very friendly and always make me feel comfortable and important. I have been dealing with a lot of complications from multiple sports related concussions, and they have done an incredible job of helping me overcome my struggles. My brain coach Molly was great at understanding my difficulties and creating a plan for improvement. Our conversations also helped to ease my anxieties - she's the best! I feel so much better now thanks to Neurogrow.
Dr. Fotuhi and his staff are amazing! He takes my problems seriously, listens and understands, and offers a kind of support that I have never received from a doctor's office. His front desk staff, brain coaches, and neurofeedback technicians are so kind and make you feel at home. They are hard-working and clearly very passionate about their jobs, and they will go out of their way to help you with anything they can. I wish I could give more stars!
I came into this office with high hopes of correcting my attention and sleep issues. Every time I come into this office I hear or see the office staff behave like high schoolers. They braid hair, eat, and surf the internet together while talking about unrelated and unprofessional work subjects. Recently I heard their manager 'happy' talk VERY unprofessionally on the phone about my coach Joanna. Advice dr; Hire Adults instead of college students. This staff will ruin your practice.
I saw Dr. Fotuhi regarding my extreme exhaustion. He saw me for an entire hour and put my worries to rest as we went over every possible cause for my exhaustion. The staff at Neurogrow is amazing. I have never encountered a more positive and welcoming office. If you need to see a Neurologist and want quality care and excellent service, I can't recommend Dr. Fotuhi or Neurogrow enough. Serious car accident-2016, brutal concussion.Symptoms not resolving, I found Dr. Fotuhi. It was worth the drive from DE to VA. Dr. Fotuhi cares about his patients. He knows how to listen, treat, and refer you to other specialists when necessary; he is an exemplary doctor, and I've made great progress. I would much prefer his staff over the cold, prickly"professionals" spoken to through glass windows. They are kind, patient, and caring, and I appreciate them, beautiful smiles, Uggs, and all : )
