I was referred to Dr Hassan after 2 failed hip laparoscopies. I was originally told I would have to have an open surgery to fix my hip. Dr Hassan listened to my concerns, reviewed my past surgical records and even personally reached out to my previous surgeon to create a treatment plan for me. I was recommended to see Dr. Hassan after trying PT, chiropractic work, a cortisone shot, and rest for an ongoing hip issue without much relief. It turns out I had a torn labrum and cam deformity that could only be repaired surgically. He took time to explain the options to me, the pros and cons of different options, and made sure I felt comfortable moving forward. Dr. Hassan was the third surgeon I went to see for my hip issues and the first to listen to what I had to say and to treat me like a real person. He was able to diagnose me the fastest out of all doctors I had seen and explained my diagnoses in a way I was able to understand and took the time to go over how extensive and important recovery for me was going to be.
