Received prompt and excellent care from Dr Turniel. Concise follow-up. Highly recommend this doctor.
Dr. Tumiel spend much time with me and gave me good suggestions for future care. He is a caring physician whose advice is always 'spot on'. His staff is lovely and there are no long waits to see Dr. Tumiel.
I’ve been a patient of Dr Tumiel’s since 2008. He is straight and to the point. He tells it like it is. He allows for questions and takes time to listen. Jessica, his nurse is awesome. She is always on top of things and keeps the office running like a well oiled machine. I’ve never had any issues getting in to see Dr Tumiel. This office is very prompt. Unlike most doctor’s offices I have never had a long waiting time in the waiting room.
It started out well, and I felt like my symptoms were being heard. As soon as the endoscopy and colonoscopy was complete and he didn't find a glaring reason for my pain, weight loss and other symptoms he became dismissive. He never did another test. His PA suggested trying a steroid enema for inflammation and he called me on the phone and let me have it like I was pushing his PA around.. I had to visit this so-called "doctor" 4 times, plus an endoscopy. The result - zero. My condition didn't change, neither my problems. His "explanation" for my chronic heartburn - "you're too old (I'm 39), and your organs are pressing against each other". This is seriously the dumbest thing I've ever heard from a doctor. Avoid him at all costs.
I am very pleased with Dr. Tumiel, the staff, ease of apt and promptness. I tried the doctors at another well known center in Panama City, (Emerald Coast) before being referred to Dr. Tumiel. Needless to say after seeing a NP upon my first visit at the previous establishment, instead of the Dr that I was scheduled to see because they were running so far behind, then I was scheduled for a colonoscopy and literally walked out of pre-op after lying there for 3+ hrs. Glad I found Dr. Tumiel!
He is very personable with his patients and very informative he has a very nice friendly staff as well
