I Have been seeing her since she started and I think she is the best. She has done 2 cataract surgeries on me and I have never had a problem with her or my eyes. She is the best.
Its like a patient mill, no one gets much time with either Dr. its just get the patient in, get the insurance $$$ and get them out waisting as much time as possible. Waiting in the office is what you will be in for, its just wait wait wait. When you finally do get to see the Dr. (often an hour or more after your appt,) you will be lucky to get 5 mins. My suggestion after 3 visits, find another Dr that really takes an interest in more than the $$$$$. This practice doesnt even meet the min time requirements for Medicare!!!
Recently had cataract surgery and it came out beautifully. Am now 20/20 again and very happy and satisfied with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Cheng.
I strongly discourage going to Dr. Cheng. When I took my daughter there, we had to wait a long time and when we received the glasses, she kept complaining for over a month that her head and eyes hurt while wearing them. She genuinely preferred to not wear those glasses even though she couldn't see well without them. Everything was also overpriced.
Overall, Dr. Cheng fixed my eye problems; she's professional, and has most certainly improved much of the Capital Region's eyesight over the years. However, I'm not convinced the office is really concerned about their patient's well-being in these COVID times: their waiting rooms are packed with too many people with seating closer than 6 feet; and the wait time is ridiculously long. Office Manager's office could be a covid hot-spot, with no sanitizing between patients and with a common pen and touch screen being used. Althou... read more
Business response:
It is disheartening that you did not reach out to anyone about your concerns. Rooms and pens are sanitized between use with hypochlorous acid (EPA approved disinfectant) or isopropyl alcohol. Also, we don't have touch screens in the office. Our chairs are also measured at 6 feet of separation. In addition, we have UVGI air handlers, touch free faucets, hands free door openers, MERV13 filtration, touchfree temperature scanning, and laser particle counters to monitor aerosol concentrations.
Both my husband and I had Dr. Cheng do our cataract surgery and we are very pleased with the results. She is a very caring and knowledgeable physician and we highly recommend her.
Incredibly professional. State of the art equipment and fabulous service. It was my first visit after many years with another Dr and I can't even describe how impressed I was. They tested me for things that no one has ever done. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Business response:
Thank you for the kind words and great feedback on our office! We are so happy to read that you were impressed with our equipment and professional service. We look forward to continue working with you!
The whole practice is a factory assembly line. And at each point, there is a wait. In addition to the coldness of the office, when I had my second eye operated on, she was over 2 hours late. I showed up for my 8 am appointment; because she was late, lost my spot for the laser, and ended up having to additional numbing medication. My exit time? 6 p.m. - almost 12 hours for a cataract procedure! My poor husband was waiting the whole time! Not acceptable!! And I had issues - unresolved.
I have been a patient of Dr. Lemanski since September 2017. (Susan, the AMAZING Office Manager has stepped in and saved the day (more than once) with her ability to multi-task, coordinate, and effectively communicate with not only insurance carriers, but the patients as well. She is a true asset to the office.) Dr. Lemanski herself is well-educated, thorough, but above all - EXTREMELY compassionate, and passionate for her work.
