Wasn't happy with her this time said hurtful commets and had to ask to check my leg pulse and she only checked my 1 foot was like hurry up get out
She seemed bothered by my questions. I am surprised she works at a teaching hospital, because she doesnt take the time to teach, but rather lecture about how she was going to do the surgery. I was concerned by her answers because it does not seem to be with new technology or how other vascular surgeons would approach surgeries. I felt my concerns did not matter, I was just a patient who asked questions and she is just used to people accepting whatever she tells them.
My initial experience with Dr Mathia was very positive. She was friendly, competent, and thorough.
I appreciated that she got right to the point, ordered the testing needed and that they scheduled the testing. When it came to getting my results, I was seen in a timely manner. Thankfully I have no issues and won't need to come back. She was friendly and had a great bedside manner. She was very professional and didn't beat around the bush which I appreciate. Her staff was great as well, very professional and kind.
Having a condition that was scary, Dr. Mathia with her caring and compassion erased any anxiety and stress. She is a wonderful woman and Dr, I survived because of her.
Poor bedside manner, curt. Was hurried when asked questions.
She Amputated my right leg below the knee and was able to save enough below knee that I was able to get a below knee prosthesis. She also hooked me up with the coolest Prosthetist in the world who custom made me an incredible leg, and encouraged me to get back to Darryl. Dr. Mathia could tell me to jump off of the building and I would. I trust her like I have never trusted any other doctor because you can feel that she cares. You can hear it in her voice and feel it in her touch. She told me she would fix me and she did!
Dr. Mathia is a wonderful surgeon. I have mever met a more compassionate healthcare provider.
She is one of the kindest physicians I have ever met. Gave me her personal cell phone number so we could reach her in an emergency. The staff is excellent, caring and considerate. Because of her, I am alive and well. So happy my family doctor recommended her.
