The billing department doesn’t understand double insurance. Plus they charged us under 9310 consultation code when we were referred to them under 0140 Code. Tried to speak to the billing person and never got a response. Fraudulent billing would never go to this place. The dentist indicated that he was unable to do a wisdom teeth removal without a 3-D x-ray which cost over $200 and is not covered by insurance. My experience at Dr. Dohman’s dental office was fantastic from start to finish. The front desk staff was incredibly accommodating and prompt when responding to my inquiry about being added to the shortlist for any open consultations and surgeries. During my consultation, Kimberly, the office manager, took the time to thoroughly explain my insurance coverage and even recommended insurance providers she has had great experiences with professionally. I just relocated to this area from Florida and not too familiar with the dentists in this area. I have a special needs (autism) sibling that needed a tooth extracted. It took me almost two years and 4 dentists (Dr. Dohman was the 4th) to reach the right dentist who would be able to provide the treatment with sedation for my brother. I read reviews before going to see Dr. Dohman and there were a few bad, but mostly good so I planned to give him the benefit of the doubt. Bedside manner is CRUCIAL to me as I suffer from severe dental anxiety and there was NONE to be found. The assistant nor himself created an environment where I felt comfortable. Dr. Dohman and his staff were extremely accommodating. He made time to extract my cracked tooth during the consultation. The procedure was virtually painless, the recovery has been easy. His staff is friendly and professional.
