Like a review below I feel like I should comment. I have been going to Dr. Mcharris for about 12 years. I travel a lot for work for long periods of time and even moved away for a short bit and still kept her as my primary doctor she didn't seem to have a problem with it. She really cares and she does point you to specialist if needed but she has helped guide it all. Highly recommend.
Dr. McHarris has been timely, knowledgeable and kind during all my visits. She never tries to rush you through. And the office staff are very upbeat. Good experience overall.
After jumping around Dr. offices for years I found Dr. Mcharis about 6 years ago. She was such a breath of fresh air! Patient, considerate, thorough, evaluating full health not merely individual symptoms - She is what a primary care doctor should be. I’ve been to her a dozen times for things ranging in seriousness and always leave feeling heard and cared for. Cant recommend her enough. Office is pretty basic, but she is worth visiting!
If you're not a failing Sr? Forget it! She will not prescribe any medication, and if she thinks you're changing Doctors or moving out of state she makes excuses not to do anything for you. I was with her for 3 years, and came to another state to take care of my ex husband who has terminal cancer. I needed a letter for a handicap parking pass and something for stress. I do not usually write reviews. I had to say something after I just read that very unfair review of Dr. McHarris. I usually read reviews before I make a decision about going to someone or buying anything. Dr. McHarris has been my doctor for many years. The is kind, thoughtful, and thorough. She never rushes you and always listens and repeats what she is hearing so there is no miscommunication about why you're visiting. She has helped me a lot over the years and I really appreciate her.
