Dr Kantounis was thorough, explained everything in my tests, and spent more time with me in one than my last cardiologist did in my last 5 visits. I have complete trust in him.
At first I was very pleased with this doctor. I referred my family & friends to him. When you get in front of him all seems wonderful then he disappears. Labs are never reviewed, calls never returned. Refills take forever and if he makes a medication change the staff never seem to know about it. Bryant does not listen or follow up. Went to Dr Kantounis because last doctor never paid attention to symptoms and failed to follow up with major cardiac evaluations. Dr Kantounis spent a lot of time focusing on symptoms and family history which is necessary to understanding medical issues. His follow up testing was timely and informative. He is a breath of fresh air compared to my past medical provider.
Dr Kantounis has cared for several family members and each has experienced significant improvement in heart health issues. He is patient, kind and understanding. He will explain, in laymen terms, all procedures, medications, and projected outcomes. Best cardiologist we’ve ever had!
Amazing, phenomenal, the best! He is so kind, caring and above all courteous. Works late nights and weekends to get to everyone. He may not be as timely as other specialists, but he is worth the wait to say in the least. Not all Doc's are perfect, but Dr. Kantunis is pretty dang close to it if you want the best!
Does not care about the patient at all. Cares about how many procedures he can perform to pay for his multi million dollar home, parties and trips. Did not even are enough about me after my cath seeing major problems to come see me with a explanation or plan. He has no heart. Bi polar to the max. Cannot sit still to hold a important conversation. His office is told by him to rescheduled you everytime, even if you waited months for a follow-up. Rude and Condescending Staff. After researching this cardiologist I chose to make an appointment to see him based on all the glowing reviews. BIG MISTAKE. Reviews must be paid for or staff is using shill accounts or friends and family to post them. Appointment times are not kept. Changed my appointment time to accommodate their office. Left waiting in their waiting room way past my appointment time. Awesome Dr. he genuinely cares about his patients
You will wait 45 min. While he's answering your questions, he also answers his phone and explains things to other patients which interferes with what you were just talking about and them you forget it. Then you have to explain the same thing to 3 other people in his office. He only accept 1 insurance
