Best ortho doctor EVER.....great personality, friendly.
I had a knee replacement surgery by Dr. Mendella after having several friends (including medical professionals) informing me of his legendary skills and his concern for his patients. Every positive comment I had heard about his professionalism was true in my case as well. This man is absolutely first class.
Dr. Mendella is the best in the area. I have had numerous knee surgeries and different doctors even in St. Louis and he is the best of the best. He performed a total knee replacement on me and it has been the best thing I have ever done. The first 6 weeks sucked, but within 5 months after surgery I peddled over 500 miles on my bicycle in a month and even tackled my annual Appalachian Trail Hike, hiking over 40 miles carrying a 50 pound pack.
