Use to go to Dr.Maffei since infancy. I had multiple UTI's in the past with her and i believed to have another one again. I went in to be seen, having classic signs of a UTI, and she said there was no enough bacteria in the culture to treat. After three subsequent visits to the lab and with continuing symptoms i decided to go to a urgent care for my symptoms. She was my primary care physician from birth to age 22. She is always very gentle, and asks about my interests. The office is very clean and welcoming, although as a 22 year old I did feel out of place in a pediatrics office.
Dr. Maffei is an excellent clinician. She is to-the-point and efficient in routine care. She also diagnosed my daughter with a rare disease, helping us get specialty care as soon as possible and avoid all the potential complications of the disease. I am honestly surprised that she does not have a 5-star rating. If you are looking for a high-quality, no-nonsense provider I recommend Dr. Maffei without reservation.
