My family and I have been seeing Dr. G for several years now for the basics. Here are some experiences I had with her...she didn't provide me any notice that she would no longer be seeing children in her practice. We found out through a nurse, which seemed inappropriate. More than a top-notch cardiologist: Dr. Shortal is actually interested in you as a person. He is patient, caring, informative, cheerful, and your committed advocate for cardiology challenges. If more people were like Dr. Shortal, the world would be a better place.
He was a poor listener and laughed at me when I suggested getting a second opinion. I told him how I was feeling and what I thought it might be (and ended up being correct in the long run). He was incorrect with his diagnosis which has caused long lasting issues in my life today.
Explains things clearly. Never feels like he's rushing.

Dr. Poland is an excellent doctor who shows true concern for his patient. His follow up and responses are quick and complete. He utilizes supporting doctors for specialty areas without any ego involved. Highly recommend Dr. Poland as a GP for anyone.

My most recent visit was a couple weeks ago for a routine annual physical. But it was the latest in a long series of excellent experiences with Doctor Beckway. I'm 63 years old and in fairly good health (fingers crossed) thanks to the holistic, intelligent, low-key style of Steven Beckway.
