My son & and I are lucky to be alive after being patients of Dr. Carrillo. She was HORRIBLE to us. She refused a bolus on my pain meds during labor, she never spoke to me directly, when I asked for help for pain, she said to the room of nurses that I would push harder if I was in more pain. Dr. Carillo is seriously amazing, loving and sweet. She actually listens to you, and knew from the get go there was something wrong with me and I needed treatment. Literally the best robotic surgeon she agreed to preform a hysterectomy because she knew it would improve my quality of life in which it did. I’m seriously in tears writing this out I am so grateful to have found her and I recommend anyone to have her as their OB/GYN. She saw me and announced she never gave prescriptions for birth control. I have had 3 high risk pregnancies, hospitalized for weeks each time, and three children by c-section and have underlying conditions that would make any more pregnancies dangerous. When I left letting her do more, she stood in the hall and shouted “Thanks for wasting time that could have been spent helping another person!” Where everyone in the waiting room could hear her. There is something wrong about this doctor.
Not a good OBGYN especially for young people, I am 22. Receptionist was very rude last time I called and tried to hang up on me when I asked if I could be directed to a party who could assist me and my needs. I don’t care what anyones personal beliefs are, but act professional at your place of work...that’s quite literally what you get paid to do. Highly recommend this doctor. Will be going back to her if I can for baby #2! She respected my Catholic beliefs and supported and helped me with my use of NFP. When my baby was diagnosed with IUGR, she monitored me closely and is the reason my daughter was still born healthy. She was wonderful coaching me through my delivery, and afterwards, advocated for my desire to solely breastfeed, instead of supplementing with formula. Office staff was wonderful to work with too.
