Dr. Scarborough is an incredibly insightful and thoughtful person. He is comforting and probative. Dr. Scarborough is an oasis in an otherwise barren psychiatric community. Roxanne, Dr. Scarborough's assistant, is incredibly kind, efficient and a comforting voice at the other end of the line. What a marvelous team.
Dr. Scarborough is professional and attentive, and by far the best Psychiatrist I have ever worked with. I recommend him to all of my family and friends, as he truly goes above and beyond. I have so enjoyed getting to know his secretary, Roxanne, and although we miss her greatly-- we appreciate her family's service to our country and hate that she had to relocate. Dr. Scarborough helped me immensely during a very difficult period in my life. He is incredibly kind, compassionate and approachable; at the same time, his no-nonsense approach and incisive observations helped me get to the heart of my issues and identify solutions for dealing effectively with those issues. He was a life saver for me!
To sum up my experience with Dr. Scarborough.. life saver. He is patient kind and very sincere to his patient’s needs. He didn’t just write for medication; he took the time thereafter to check in on me to ensure that they were actually working for my needs.
Dr. Scarborough is the kindest Doctor I have met in a long time. He listens with true compassion and really tries to understand what/how you are feeling.

Dr. Lonnie Scarborough is the best doctor you could ever ask for if you're fighting addiction. He saved myself and my husband's lives; truly. Dr. Scarborough saved mine and my husband's lives. We were both at a crisis point, and had to choose: succumb to our addictions, or get help. I truly believe no other doctor COULD have broken through like Dr. Lonnie did. He has, and is still, teaching us there is SO MUCH MORE to life than finding our next fix.
