I get emotional whenever I talk about this and my incredible surgeon. I was referred to Dr Abaid when my uterine cancer was already advanced and stage four metastasized to my lung. She was the only steady support that I wanted or needed at that point; she was transparent, honest, and delivered serious information with compassion, concern, and confidence without one breath of arrogance. Dr. Abaid has a wonderful bedside manner AND she is an excellent surgeon. I highly recommend her.
Rating is not a fair question. I have been seen by Dr Abaid in the past. Office cannot find my file. She was also my Mom’s Dr, who passed away from ovarian cancer. My sister passed away in 2018, from female cancer. I cannot get an appt w/Dr Abaid. Roadblock with assistants answering calls. I need cancer to see her. I need a Brca test to see her. I cannot access this entire Women's Healthcare Institute because my file is lost. We have donated to Hoag & cannot get an appt.
I have been cancer free now for 12 years. I truly believe Dr. Abaid was instrumental in saving my life. The cancer was caught in the early stages and she was patient and gentle with me. It was the first time I had surgery in my life at 65. Thank you Dr I have never forgotten you and I keep you in my prayers.
Dr Abaid is a fantastic doctor & surgeon. So happy to have been referred to her and would highly recommend.
I had recently Left a Health great for This doctor it actually wasn’t the right one because I had written out two, This doctor is the best in the country I’ve seen many before her and nobody has her gentle touch and remarkable hands to heal.. Dr. Abaid was so kind and friendly, after being tossed from Dr. To Dr. I was very satisfied that she was my and "thee" specialist that answered all my questions, explained in detail, her bed side manor was jus soothing. I was very nervous and afraid of the whole situation. She gave me advice, options and also said she would definitely touch base with me again prior to surgery. She is the best and although I did have quite a bit of pain after surgery, I think it was more so my nerves, but I didn't even bruise much at all. And... read more
Just called her office and she would not see me as a new patient even though I was referred by my Doctor. The receptionist was not very helpful. Very disappointed in this Doctor.
