As a physician (internist) rating Dr. Whiteaker, I give her the highest possible ratings for knowledge base, her ability to explain things, the fact that she covered so many important topics during the visit (sun protection, including recommended sunscreens). She was very concise, very to the point, answered all our questions, did the necessary treatment but did not over treat. Very pleasant demeanor. My husband also really liked her.
Dr. Whiteaker is a decent doctor. However, she does not spend much time with each patient. The nurses are not very respectful and did not assist me when I needed help before my appointment. Dr.Lisa Whiteaker is a wonderful dermatologist. I went to her years ago when I had a an acne breakout and needed a presciption for RetinA. Then, several years later...I had a suspicious black mole appear on one of my legs. It scared me enough to warrant a doctor visit...and of course, I made an appt. and returned to Dr. Whiteaker's office. She also thought it odd in appearance and did a quick surface removed of it. No pain and I'm glad that the mole was removed just in case. Gave me peace of mind.
