She has delivered 2 of my babies and I'm currently pregnant again. She is absolutely amazing, very cautious and goes the extra mile to insure that both mother and baby will come out healthy and safe. I have very easy pregnancies but very difficult deliveries; I so appreciate that she is extra when it comes to us coming out of it alive and well. Thank you Dr. Nelsen <3

I saw Dr. Nelson for the first time today. She was very kind, thorough, gentle & easy to communicate with. I’m very happy to have found her. The office staff was very nice & helpful in person & over the phone. Overall very good experience!

Love Dr. Nelson, very kind and seems to care a lot for her patients. Her receptionist, however, is extremely rude. To the point where I dread having to call the office for questions and now want to switch doctors. If it wasn't for the lady answering the phones I would have given this a much higher rating. She unfortunately has tainted my overall experience with this doctor.

Lisa Nelsen failed to diagnose correct causes of severe pain, symptoms of Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, uterine, and ovarian disease. Failed ACOG guidelines which state gynecologists need to take next diagnostic steps to determine the causes of a patient’s chronic pelvic pain, gynecological symptoms, and abnormal bleeding that have lasted over six months. Wrongly diagnosed my diseases as “underlying depression exacerbated during premenstrual period."No referral to gynecologic oncological surgeon.

Dr. Nelsen was incredibly pushy about her own ideas without listening to my needs. She tried pressuring me into a unnecessary C-section at 36 weeks for convenience (40 is considered term and evidence based research doesn't support scheduled c-section in otherwise healthy pregnancy) she wanted to "split the difference and schedule for 38wks" when I insisted on trying for term. She also did not like being told "no" to pelvic exams (I'm an assault survivor) overall, she was cocky and inconsiderate

I've been a patient if Dr Nelsen for many years. She's a fabulous doctor who takes time to talk and listen to you. Your never rushed because she gives you time to explain what's going on. I highly recommend her.

I made an appointment with Dr. Nelsen about 5 weeks ago. I called the office the day of my appointment (09:30 01/12/17) to update my insurance coverage and was advised that I wasn't even on the schedule. The receptionist kept calling me "hun" and spoke in a very condescending manner to the point of being outright rude. She made no effort to correct their mistake or to get me on the schedule. I view the front office as a representation of the doctor and strongly recommend that you avoid.

I have been seeing Dr. Nelsen for a couple years now and I absolutely love her. I just had my first baby and she was amazing throughout my entire pregnancy. She always makes me feel welcomed and you can tell she is such a genuinely great person. Her staff is so sweet and you tell they all love working there. Highly recommend her as your doctor!
