Wasn’t listened to, treated me with disrespect, made me feel dumb.
I recently fired Dr. Flarey after 20 yrs because of the ongoing hostile environment in her office. The receptionist is difficult, rude, & unprofessional. She determines whether or not I can see the Dr, knows all about my medical history, schedules follow up appts without discussing it with me, tells me to call and cancel if it doesn't work, then she writes in my chart that I cancelled. Receptionist will not let you talk to the doctor or a nurse practioner. I believe that my messages for the doctor are not being passed along. My prescriptions are not being called in in a timely manner. I'm sad to say that my wife and I will be looking for another family doctor in the very near future. Dr. Flarey is not the problem, but some of her staff is. It is not the receptionist place or business to answer my medical questions.
Dr. Flarey listens, addresses your concerns, takes them seriously and works with any situation you have. Also has a very pleasant manner.
I was very disappointed that I was unable to speak directly to Dr Flarey or the nurse practitioner that had made the proper diagnosis for me. The office staff was unsympathetic and made it clear that they no longer wanted to take the time to truly understand me. I was asked to make an appointment and when I got there I was told that it was still too soon for a proper follow up. Trying to resolve this issue to prevent it in the future proved futile. I am truly sad to leave a wonderful nurse.
