I was seen for less than 5 minutes, laughed at by the doctor and assistants for my issue being "weird," and had my concerns completely blown off as being nothing despite my issue being recurrent for months and my primary care doctor wanting me to get a biopsy done. Dr. Zhou acted like I was wasting her time and said I probably just bumped my arm because "women bruise easily." I specifically said I did not bump my arm and this has been going on for awhile. My son saw Dr Zhou for his acne. I was not always a believer in her suggested protocol but I have to say that his hair looks AMAZING. I would definitely recommend her to anyone
Does not provide patients with information about all treatments available, and failed to refer me to other doctors who do offer treatments that would have fastracked my progress. Treatments she did provide were not done correctly or often enough to maintain what little progress was made.
Patients for 10 yrs. Every time Dr. Zhou has requested a biopsy, she has correctly recognized a skin cancer. We have & will continue to recommend her to others.
I went there as I had two areas of concern. One spot they said was the beginning of cancer and sprayed it with liquid nitrogen. They told me the second spot on my shoulder was nothing. The first spot stayed the same and did not go away. I went for a second opinion regarding the second spot with another dermatologist and they took a skin sample. The report came back saying the spot was cancerous, it was melanoma. The first spot was cured using a cream, the melanoma required 2 surgeries.
She's very quick, not sure if she's actually doing her job. I give her a 3 star
My experience with Dr. Zhou has always been positive. She explains procedures and the reasons for doing them. Her work is professional. She puts me at ease and I am confident in her medical decisions.
