I underwent root canals of three adjacent teeth and drainage of an abscess. The pain beforehand was severe. The consultation was obtained through my family dentist's office for the next day. I was seen on time, screened for Covid factors, scanned, and examined. Dr. Levin was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and very gentle. Her equipment and use of the microscope was impressive. I have required urgent endodontal management 2x in the past year - both were extenuating cases including a root perforation by a highly regarded endodontist at UNC Faculty practice ( necessitating an extraction per his clinical expertise ) and a sudden root infection unfortunately at the onset of this SARS-Covid 19 pandemic . Let me preface this by saying that the reason for the 1 star review is not the root canal work performed by Dr. Levin (that seems fine and Dr. Levin was perfectly pleasant), but the (over)billing horrors that followed. Dr. Levin's office waits until you are in a chair to give misleading/vague/unclear insurance information and charges FAR more than any other reputable endodontist in the area.

Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Levin. She and her staff were all very friendly, professional and considerate of my needs. The office environment was pleasant and the procedure room offered a calming atmosphere, with a comfortable examine chair and very peaceful music in the background. I would definitely go back to Dr. Levin for any procedure, and would recommend her and her practice to friends. Thank you, Dr. Levin, for your kind care of me today!

Dr. Levin is experienced, professional, caring, and thoughtful in her attention to care. I was recently seen by Dr. Levin following a tooth trauma and was provided with exceptional care from beginning to end. I was anxious about needing multiple root canals and was calmed by Dr. Levin's patience in explaining the procedure in detail and answering my many questions. I could not have been more pleased with the service provided by Dr. Levin and her staff and I absolutely recommend her office.

Dr. Levin made having a root canal very Painless. Made me feel comfortable during the entire procedure. ( root canal). Ashley and the doctor worked very well together. Office hadvery modern equiptment. I would recommend.
