I (white female) was a patient at Smith Haven Pediatrics from birth until age 18. Here are snapshots of some of my experiences: When I was 5, I had a developmentally appropriate negative reaction to getting my blood drawn. One of the nurses holding me down twisted my leg. Before she let me up, she also pinched me. Additionally, I had to hear at every appointment after that up until my college physical, "Remember that time when you were 5 and you were SO BAD?" Dr Chernobilsky is an incredible doctor, As are his partners in the office. He has cared for my children since birth and my oldest is now headed off to college. We feel so lucky to have found him and have never had a negative word to say about him. He is wonderful!! Love Dr. C!
Awful. He was an on-call doctor for my normal pediatric doctor. I needed a doctor's note to submit to LIPA as we were having extreme weather conditions (and we frequently lose power). LIPA instructed me to submit a doctor's note and they would move our household to priority (my son had been in the ER nights before with respiratory distress and needed nebulizer treatments).
