Dr. Smith was my psychiatrist while I lived in Memphis, and he was absolutely amazing. I have multiple mental disorders that he helped regulate and treat even though finding medications that work without side-effects for me is a challenge. He and I went through some very dark periods together, and he always brought me through to the other side. I love this man.
He was readily available to meet with me when I was in crisis. He also met with. my father when I asked him to so that my father would understand that I truly was suffering from a mental disorder and that it wasn't "all in my head" or "situational". He patiently explained to my father the ins and outs of living with bipolar and what support could look like from him.
Dr Smith took my daughter off of Xanax and she began having seizures
Dr. Smith has been a life saver. I have been seeing him for nearly ten years. Very understanding, very kind, answers all my questions. We always find the proper treatment I need and I recommend anyone who needs a good doctor , to see him.
