Dr Gurwitt was my ob gyn in 1988. He was a racist jerk and did a c- section on me that scared me for life. C - sections were big then because they paid a lot. He worked at Then Desert Hospital. They also brought me the wrong baby to nurse. It was the lady next to me. I was too young and stupid not to sue them. After all these years it’s still a painful memory.
I have always received wonderful, compassionate care from Dr. Gurwitt and everyone at Fleur. Beyond thankful for 4 healthy pregnancies and deliveries with them. Dr. Gurwitt does not deliver anymore or take care of pregnancy past the first trimester, I believe, but his compassion and love for the job is evident. I wish he still delivered babies!
This was my gynecologist before I was pregnant. I went away for college out of state and found out I was pregnant. (Yeay!) Then we attempt to continue my care back home at 16 weeks. We were told by the front desk woman we'd receive a call back to set up an appointment. I sit and waited for my call back. After some time, I did get a call back requesting records. I comply.
