I saw Dr. Arenivar briefly over 4 years ago in Austin when he worked for Lonestar Circle of Care. I really appreciated being able to see a REAL psychiatrist instead of an NP. Dr. Arenivar was very professional and he listened to everything I said. Unfortunately, he moved on to another state and I ended up moving to Minnesota where Medicaid pays for my health insurance and prescriptions. I've been seeing Dr. Arenivar for about 6 months now, and he has been nothing but understanding, attentive, and informed. I take a combination of meds for mental health, and this is not an easy thing to get right -- he's been there with me every step of the way, always open to trying something new when one option isn't working so well. Dr. Arenivar has what it takes to be a good psychiatrist -- patience and candor.
I would never have made it this far in life without the blessing of having Dr. Arenivar as my doctor. He has been the best and I don't think any other psychiatrist can or will ever compare.
Dr Arenivar has been amazing helping us diagnose my sons strange behaviors. He has gone the extra mile, calling us after hours, arranging special testing, spending time with my son asking him questions. He is always very thorough, respectful, and understandable. I would totally recommend him as one the best in Austin!
Dr Arenivar has truly changed my life in such a positive way. I am so blessed to have had him as my doctor for over a year now. I highly recommend him!
