Dr. Gross! The best doctor I have ever had. He fixed my eyes and he was very kind. The only reason I don't go to him now is no insurance. My cataracts are gone and I have peace of mind.

Dr. Gross helped me make a decision between surgery or radiation for basal cell under my eyelid--I had talked with a MOHS surgeon and Occuloplastic surgeon and couldn't decide what to do--he laid the scenario so clearly that I made up my mind that day and had 6 treatments of radiation and a clear MRI a month later---He is a very astute, caring person and I feel and it is a privilege to have him as my ophthalmologist!!

I went to Dr. Gross for a second opinion and I had high hopes as Thomas Eye Group came very highly recommended by a friend. He could not have been more arrogant, condescending and downright rude. He was actually bold enough to make condescending remarks about how dumb he thought I was to his assistant in front of me. He may be a good doctor but he has terrible bedside manner. Any question I asked, he seemed annoyed and bothered to answer. His answers were also very short and vague. I left with no more knowledge than when I w... read more

Dr. Gross is cocky and arrogant. I consider myself fairly intellectual and when I asked him to spell for me what procedure he was going to do on me, he said all I have to know is that it's to moisten my eyes. II was highly insulted. I agree that you have to wait awhile and it's an eye factory.

Saw Dr Gross and staff today for routine eye exam. Wait time was about what I expected. Staff were pleasant. He spent time with me on the exam, explained finding of cataracts, and answered questions about surgical removal of the cataracts. He was pleasant and was confident in his skills without being arrogant.

felt rushed, poor listener, abrasive. Wouldn't recommend for routine eye exam with basic questions.

You feel like a number at Thomas Eye Group. I waited 35 minutes from check in to see someone who gave me an eye test & then waited again to see Dr. Gross. When I waited in the chair to see Dr. Gross - I could hear him chatting in the hall with someone else about details of a medical lawsuit that had taken 2 years of time & hassle. When he did come in to see me, I detailed the reason that I came & issues that I've been having, but he didn't really listen. I was rushed right out. It was a waste.

I had cataract surgery with Dr. Gross and see better now than I did as a kid. The office people are so very nice and helpful. I am so thrilled with my experience.
