I saw her as a teenager and she saved my life. She got me testing and medication and counseling. I worked with her again when I was in college and she quite literally saved my life...I truly believe I wouldn’t be here without her. She is kind but not a pushover and was exactly what I needed.
I went to Lenora Ashley as a teenager. She gave terrible advice to my parents, encouraged drugs and a hard line discipline, offering no kindness or understanding to someone who really needed some counseling after traumatic childhood experiences. As an adult I look back at the time I saw her and wince because of her failure to properly treat her patient, and instead to throw drugs at a child who was suffering.
