Pompous... Shows no understanding or empathy.... rude... works hard to make you feel stupid.
Talk about a cocky attitude from the very beginning he tried to tell me how I felt dealt with the pain. These doctors have no idea what I go through what I've been through but yet they try to tell you how you feel. I'm not even going back to my post-op appointment because of his attitude. He's very rude. Has a very bedside manner. Good luck to y'all...
I went in for an ACL repair and he was dismissive and rude. I went back a year later and told him I think I broke it because I had fallen and the pain felt the exact same the first time and he was arrogant and said theres no way it tore and that I repaired it successfully, he took a scan and the result was that I did in fact retear it and he said it must have been because I wasnt stretching and continuing the knee strengthening exercises.
This feedback specifically pertains to my extremely disappointing and distressing experience with Dr. Lee Blanton, the orthopedic specialist. This visit happened in July 2025. Reading all of the reviews, you may think this doctor changed, but you will be surprised he was still practice being dismissive and rude. Refuses to take responsibility for a surgery that is in his name, even though there are problems with other people in the room. He would not even listen to any complaints, saying I only focused on the knee.
