He is a great surgeon and he really cares about his patients.
Went in for a consultation. Dr. Powell within a minute said he couldn’t do anything to help (which was fair and not the reason for this review). He asked me what book I had in my hands and the conversation about books was longer than my actual consultation. I was billed for $582. Their billing and office departments were extremely condescending, curt, and rude (passive aggressive). They would make great politicians. PS: The first bill arrived 9 months after said consultation.
Very surprised at any positive reviews for this physician. He’s inconsiderate, talks over you, completely behind the curve as far as the patient’s current status, and he actually would interrupt interrupt you just to give incorrect information About the history of the patient current status and give you no opportunity to simply inform him of the facts. I am very thankful to have had Dr. Powell as my surgeon. I broke 13 ribs, and Dr. Powell did an excellent job of inserting rods and screws to fix my injuries. Recovery has been speedy, and I am healing well. Thank you Dr. Powell for putting me back together again after my devastating fall!
My surgery experience was excellent. Dr. Powell is an amazing doctor. He's highly intelligent and compassion. Highly recommended by me!
