I can see the prior reviews are conflicting which can come off as very confusing for someone looking for a pediatrician for their child. I am a nurse with a child under Dr. Nchama's care. The healthcare system is absolutely broken, and not at the fault of these physicians. This office does get inundated with calls, so sometimes it IS impossible to get through. We had a scheduling hiccup and came in too early for our apt. The receptionist was very helpful and luckily for us the people scheduled for around that time hadn't come in so she was able to fit us in. It was very accommodating, she's always been kind with us.
We’ve always made it to every appointment on time and have never missed one, until recently, when we unfortunately missed a single visit. We were told we’d either have to pay a $100 no-show fee or risk having our kids dropped from the practice entirely. When my wife tried to explain that we’ve always received reminders in the past (but didn’t this time), the receptionist was incredibly rude and dismissive, saying, “You’re not a child,” in a completely uncalled-for tone. The secretary is horrible. I've called so many times left voicrmails for a year now and NOT once has she called me back to book my children in. She is useless and needs a new job!!
