My husband is a retired New York City Firefighter as well as a 9/11 survivor. I myself am a disabled Medic. For a while Dr. Gardner was the only GP in Cape Coral that took our health insurance. Since my husband retired my primary insurance is Medicare so i can go to any doctor. I love Dr. Gardner. Caring, listens, makes me comfortable, respects my input and is professional always.
I was in the hospital recently with hip replacement. Dr Gardner arrived every day going over medications and notes and asking me how I felt. Honestly drs nowadays aren’t as thorough but dr Gardner keeps track of everything and follows up. He is a great advocate for the patient. His staff responds and has him call you when and if needed. I hand-picked him for my 91-year old mother. He takes his time and when she goes to the hospital, he is her hospitalist. His staff knows us by name. He is informed on current medical advances. We highly recommend him!
