Dr. Adams saved my life when i was just 9 years old. Denied by 4 emergency rooms, dr. adams took me in & was able to diagnose me with crohns disease. I will forever be thankful for a great physician!!!!! I hope he is enjoying a break from the stressful job.
My son was seeing Dr Adams for gas and stomach issues. He had an endoscopy and was told he had some irritation in his esophagus and should take the required medications. The problem was that I wanted a second opinion because the medicines didn't provide as much help as we thought. After seeing another Pediatric Doctor I was told Dr Adam did an inferior Endoscopy and that the "new doctor" could redo a much better endoscopy? HUH? I will always refer Dr. Adams to people because he is an awesome diagnostician with an equally impressive bedside manner. When considering a child's GI issues he first explores all the potential causes incuding the potential stress levels that his patients may experience and diet and other issues that can cause GI challenges. Rather than suggesting invasive procedures unecessarily he considers both homeopathic remedies and/or lifestyle and diet changes. If you are looking for the best pediatric GI doctor, you found him. Crohn’s disease was diagnosed for my daughter at 7 1/2 years old. As heart breaking this diesel is, Dr Adams, kept my daughter out of the hospital for 13 years. Sadly my daughter is turning 21 and we must go to an adult specialist now. Not only is dr Adams good, he is so caring and knows how to talk to a child growing into a young adult. We will miss him dearly. Thank you Dr Adams for caring so much. We miss you

I highly recommend Dr. Adams. I have 2 children with Crohn's disease & he and his staff have always been very nice to me & my kids. My youngest wasn't diagnosed right away until I changed pediatricians & we ended up going to a hematologist who then told me my son had blood in his poop & to see a gastroenterologist. I knew exactly who I was going to go to because he took care of my oldest son & at the very first appointment he knew what we had to do. My son is doing better with meds. He's great!
