As a pediatric orthopaedist practicing for over 38 years at a University teaching hospital, I rely on my experience , as well as that of my many colleagues both here in CA, as well as throughout the world to inform my treatment choices. As a general rule, I believe in trying to allow for the simplest approach that will work, encouraging Mother Nature to assist us in deformity correction. Thus, I do not always go for "the newest" or "splashiest" choice when patience and time will be sufficient.

Not surprised to see these great reviews; frankly, Dr Rinsky is excellent and too good for LPCH@Stanford (which sucks). Dr Rinsky tried casting on my son’s leg with minimal improvement. He tried Botox; no change. But Dr Rinsky didn’t give up and tried a hamstring lengthening operation. Big, big improvement, thanks for not giving up! As I told him, after seeing many doctors at Stanford, he’s actually the only one that improved my son’s life.
