Took 7 months to reply to an email and despite sending multiple emails through different accounts and calling several times (all to voicemail), they claim it was accidentally sent to their junk folder. I haven't had the displeasure of actually sitting and talking with Jerome but if this is how his office handles clients, especially ones in need, I do not trust this man nor his agency to help anyone.
Thank you Dr. Jerome for your attentiveness and professionalism! He listened, and gave us the space to talk, he was empathetic and I had a very positive experience!
I am giving one star but Dr. Jerome doesn't even deserve that. He told a patient who disclosed that they experienced disordered eating that they needed to lose weight. For a psychiatrist to suggest this to someone after they disclosed their previous experience is NEGLIGENT. As a doctor who prescribes stimulants (commonly misused for weight loss) this is NEGLIGENT. Extremely long wait times, and lacking communication when trying to reach out via email or voicemail, let alone phone calls. My first assessment with him was so disappointing and discouraging and hurtful that I don’t want to schedule a second appointment or even get a second opinion. After asking me so many personal questions and sharing so many personal details of my life he wrote me off and advised me to focus on my diet and lifestyle.
