Just say NO. I am a retired licensed healthcare executive. I had surgery done by this doctor and had a horrible experience. He had a wall of thank you cards in his office. None of the cards were from patients. His post-op care consisted of ibuprofen after a severely painful hernia repair. That's malpractice and traumatic cruelty. Dr, Yee performed two procedures on me over ten years. He was consistent during that time period. Dr Yee is the opposite of a warm, caring, informative surgeon. He is perennially in a hurry. He shares vey little about how to support his work, alternative remedies and what to expect afterwards. He just does his thing and then takes off. I won’t be going back.
The care I received from Dr Yee and his staff was excellent from the first visit all the way through my aftercare. If you are seeking a caring, first rate medical professional and talented surgeon, I recommend Dr Yee highly and appreciate him so much.
Let me tell you about our experience with Dr. Yee. First, the back story: my husband was injured after being operated on by ‘hotshot’ prostate cancer surgeons at UCSF. Seeking help, for the next five years we went to surgeons at UCSF, Stanford, and even out of state - all to no avail. We were utterly disheartened and terribly frustrated.
