His poor reputation precedes him. Take the reviews seriously. I read them and remained open. I attempted to vet the visit prior to expedite my emergent circumstances and reason for visit. He offered nothing but to repeat modalities at his enrichment. He reviewed 36 years of records in 13 minutes. He spent more time speaking to my Concierge doctor pre-visit and past than evaluating. Physician driven NOT patient. He was just backing up a colleague who wanted to abandon a patient. Beware-ethics
Dr Fine spent a lot of time with me. I left there more confident and less worried. His staff was professional. I waited apprx 8 minutes.

I am a former patient of Dr. Fine. The only reason I am no longer his patient is because I moved out of the area. I was going through a difficult time in my life when I was his patient. He was very compassionate, understanding, and respectful. He even went out of his way to make me laugh, when I would have been crying. He took the time to get to know me and discuss my treatment options. He is an excellent doctor and very knowledgeable in his field. A++++++
Dr. Fine is pompous, unsympathetic, and unhelpful. Stay away.
initial consultation was with Dr. Eisner who took the time to listen and referred me to the "so called" pain specialist Laurence Fine, MD....... What a joke. This guy thinks he's God......... Had 1st session with him which was fact finding and I agreed to meet with him for results of tests and follow up the following month. Well next appointment he didn't even recognize me and didn't take the time to review my file before our appt. I am surprised he still has a practice.... Bad news.....
Dr. Fine is an excellent doctor who has treated me since 2008. He takes the time to sit and discuss your problem and recommends and administered a great course of action which has provided less pain and greater mobility. to me. I highly recommend him. His staff both in the office and outpatient facility is top notch. .
