I was extremely impressed with Dr. Shapiro. She is not only highly knowledgeable but also genuinely committed to patient care. It’s clear that she goes above and beyond to ensure her patients receive the best treatment possible. I would highly recommend her to anyone dealing with a hand or arm issue.
One of the most compassionate surgeons I've ever met. Really appreciated the clear expectations she set for recovery. While it was much longer than I expected, it was accurate. And that was ultimately what mattered. Several of the doctors I saw before her gave me vague, overly optimistic guidance on getting back to normal, which just raised my hopes, then set me up for disappointment. With Dr Shapiro, I got over the frustration of a long recovery quickly, then was able to channel my focus towards PT.
