Treats a patient as an intelligent individual who desires sufficient information to make an informed decision about a proposed procedure. (And also can take a pap smear with the patient almost not noticing it has been done.)
Terrible bedside manner! Felt like I was talking to a wall and she was looking through me like a window. I felt she was dismissive and annoyed. Very aggressive during internal exam. Left the appt in tears.
Dr Bartholomay not only took the time to review my case before hand but then sat and truly listened. She asked questions that allowed her to get all the facts and details needed before making a decision. She is very soft spoken and kind doctor.

I trust Dr. Bartholomay with her every decision. She delivered my grandson in 2004 and now is my gynecologist. I highly recommend her for all gynecological issues.
Dr. Bartholomay sits and talks with you. She is unrushed and makes you feel like you have her undivided attention. Her pelvic exams are gentle, thorough and the best I have had in 45 years of annual exams. She uses a comfortable seat that reclines so you don't have to scoot prior to the exam. Her speculums are nice a warm. She goes the distance to ensure comfort for her patients.
