I was referred to Dr. B by a friend when I unexpectedly found out I was pregnant. I had previously experienced very bad, very traumatizing care from two other networks for high-risk pregnancies which ended in losses, so changing networks yet again was nerve wracking. Pick a high-risk complication - I had it. Along with maternal fetal medicine, she and her colleagues helped me navigate every obstacle thrown at me, from start to finish. Her big save came after she delivered our miracle baby. Courtesy of my incredibly dysfuncti... read more

The doctor was also incredibly nice. I had a negative experience at my last gyno visit so this was truly a breath of fresh air.

Had a uti, the office took a specimen for a culture. She was the Dr. on call, I had to beg for an antibiotic because I was in so much pain and after three days of this I still had no culture and no antibiotic. Finally a nurse had her prescribe an antibiotic, I contacted the office again and told them the antibiotic was not working and the pain was a 10, she told me nothing I could do and was very rude and told me go to the ER then I can’t help you. My husband called her a hour later and she said I would be fine by that eveni... read more

I saw this doctor for a couple years. During that time, I had an IUD inserted. About a year later, I started having recurring yeast infections, recurring UTIs and BV. When I asked her if those could possibly be related to the IUD, more specifically the strings, she totally brushed me off, was dismissive of my concerns and refused to remove the IUD because in her mind, the “positives” outweighed the negatives. A few years later, and there are now studies that are linking an increased risk of recurring infections like yeast in... read more

I was previously seen by TriHealth doctors and it was confirmed that I had a subcnrionic bleed that was getting larger - when switching to Christ the nurse I saw at my first visit told me I could discuss with dr a care plan which could potentially include bedrest because of the growth in my bleed. Also I have a hemorrhaging cyst on my left ovary that is causing me pain. Came in to appt today she was about to give me a pelvic exam so I asked why? I had one in December with TriHealth she said okay then asked if I had questions... read more

Today was my first visit with Dr Broxterman, I refused a Tdap and flu shot which seemed to really peeve her. However, someone that I just met in the most dismissive doctors visit I have ever had does not get to ask me "why". I politely gave a brief reasoning to which she rebutted that my child could "stop breathing and die", a little callous and overreaching. I have two children that I also didn't receive unnecessary vaccinations for and both are very healthy.

Would never recommend to anyone. Not even my worst enemy. Was completely out of line and unprofessional as soon as I said I was not going to go forth with a Csection. I had already been informed of the risks and benefits multiple times and I chose not to have a major surgery (and then went on to have a very successful all natural VBAC with actual supportive doctors). As soon as she didn’t get her way she tried every scare tactic in the book. Even told me that she’d “rather deliver a live baby today than a dead one later”. Co... read more
