My son saw Dr. Sices years ago. He was (and is) autistic and she went above and beyond to help him get the resources he needs. She is highly competent, very principled, conscientious in her work, and cares deeply for the well being of her patients. If you are coming to her to rubber stamp your own personal diagnosis and treatment plan, she is not the best choice because she is principled and not all about money. But if you want to find out what is really going on and how best to help your child, I highly recommend her.
Brushed off our concerns regarding autism for our child, but was very quick to point to oppositional defiant disorder at the very first meeting-- our child is THREE. Terrible bedside manner, old school, needs to update her education. Told us that our child is "too conversational to be autistic" but the education board psychologist said our child has SEVERAL flags for autism spectrum disorder. We will pursue a diagnosis with anyone BUT Dr Sices. Do NOT recommend.
