We saw Dr. Prewett at urgent care, she was very sweet to my daughter and when I asked further questions she explained the pros and cons in depth, making sure I was comfortable with my decisions.

Please do yourself a favor and don't waste your time and money with this doctor that we saw at the urgent care. I have never seen a doctor not intentionally look into a child's mouth and throat when they present with fever and other symptom of upper respiratory infection. All she was really interested in was having us do a covid19 test. I really don't understand how covid19 is the only item on your differential diagnosis list. Daughter went to see Dr laura prewett md today My wife asked her to do a strep and flu test and was refused but was pressured to do a covid test which was declined. They left to go elsewhere to do the testing We were billed 150 and when I came home I called and asked the ladies at texas children's urgent care - memorial dr for a refund and dr name they claimed they did not have access ..not could they issue a refund.
