Dr Lashonda Carlton was incredibly dismissive and rude. Not only was she a half hour late (which happens, I get that) but she did not even listen to what I was explaining... she talked over me and suggested standard solutions to a problem that I was not even having. This doctor was incredibly passive aggressive to my mother and was zero help to a very serious issue. After my mother tried explaining several times what was going on, she was shut down and mocked by Dr. Carlton. It was a very degrading and shameful conversation and people who treat their patients like this should not be allowed to work in this industry. If I could leave no stars I would. Judgemental and rude. Completely unprofessional! Waited an hour and 50 minutes just to be seen. She didn’t care about my time at all. When it came to women’s health she denied birth control. This woman has a real attitude problem and should not be allowed to practice.
Alot of people may not appreciate her bluntness, but this woman is amazing! You don’t want a provider who is going to sugar coat things, you need one who is going to tell it like it is even if it’s not what you want to hear, especially when having a baby! I’m high risk with my 5th and last pregnancy and I usually in the past have seen multiple different providers, but this pregnancy when I got Dr. Carlton, I decided I wanted to see her only.
