Dr. Larkai, as the reviews state, is hit or miss with severe concerns. I understand the wait times aren't necessarily his fault, but his behaviour AFTER the wait times a hundred percent is. He showed disgust at me, and a BOWEL doctor who portrays disgust at the thought of seeing someones bottom is a HUGE red flag. It's already painfully uncomfortable and weird for the patient, but it's your JOB to look at intestines and stool all day. Went for a colonoscopy with Dr. Larkai. The medication didn’t really work and I was wide awake for the whole thing (my only complaint) but it confirmed nothing was wrong on that end. He mentioned it must be something going in. I was annoyed for a while after that cause I felt like it was useless to have gone for ‘nothing’. I recently realized it was in fact something going in. Dr. Larkai is a great, well informed specialist, very thorough, detailed oriented and professional while genuine caring, and personal.
Dr Larkai has been my Dr for years. I fully trust him and have the most respect for him as a Dr. He is very knowledgeable and I always feel safe when I have a procedure done with him. I just had a procedure today and I fully trust in his follow-up with the results and anything else I may require.
Well I’m reading these negative reviews and I’m not understanding? Dr. Larkai is a kind and patient doctor, he listens attentively to your concerns. The wait times, well that is not Dr.Larkai’s issues, it’s the provincial government, so call the premier with your issues. I imagine the Dr. has a full load which is very stressful. I’m grateful for the care he is and has given me.
