Absolutely, horrible business! If the review was scored (-5 to 5) I’d give them -5. They will use your vulnerability (when all you want to do is get your child help) to their advantage. Instead of explaining the difference between a psychological evaluation (which is what I stated I wanted multiple times) they will charge you for a neuropsychological evaluation. If I could give zero stars, I would. We were informed that this office does a psychological evaluation (if you try and work with this office, please read page 11:20 of the new patient paperwork, where you will be led to believe that they will conduct the type of testing based off your presenting concerns). Furthermore, you will be led to believe that you are conducting the test that you need and that they have checked your insurance benefits. If you decide to stop treatment, the office will not answer your calls or return your messages. My husband have both called multiple times and left multiple messages advising that we needed to add an insurance carrier and change our method of payment. Due to them not being willing to communicate, they pulled $300 out of my account vs billing the correct insurance.
