For several appointments I was visiting a resident learning under Dr. Akeju. That doctor which I had previously was attentive and mindful. On my fourth visit at the clinic, Dr. Akeju was my doctor and he refused my refill saying he was not sure if I was going to sell my medication. I had to alternatively set up an appointment with my gp to actually receive my refill. I was very lucky in this case to have a reliable gp that was available. Very good doctor. Very welcoming, engaging, knowledgeable. I feel very comfortable at this practice. Front staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The only doctor to prescribe me what I actually needed and worked in this field.
One of the worst psychiatrist. Goes by what the patient wants, not what's good for the patient. Indiscriminate referral for ECT even for slightly depressive patients. Contradicts himself surrendering to patient's demand. Popularist, careless, and harmful.
