Just like to share my unbelievable experiences for a total hip replacement. firstly big big shout out to my Orthopaedic Specialist Mr Lachlan Milne, who is an unbelievable special skilled and caring person, not forgetting his team at Hollywood Hospital Perth Western Australia who are also cut from the same cloth absolutely brilliantly. I had my total hip replacement on Wednesday 17 th December 2025. No words can describe what a positive experience I had with Dr Milne. Starting from the pre op visits to the day of the operation. His method using the Anterior entry made this replacement non intrusive. With a small scare lying under your bikini line has made recovery manageable. . Pain management was precise and my mobility hasn’t had any restrictions. Day 4 I know is early, however I feel the hip replacement should have be done years ago.
Lachy is very personable, has revised my right hip from previous surgery. Appreciate the transparency, guidance and knowledge. Cares about his patients and providing the right treatment.
Lachlan helped revise another surgeons work that caused me pain, I am still in pain after the revision to my right hip and my case was closed without Lachlan seeing me
