I do not recommend Dr. Kovac. He put a screw in my 5th metatarsal four months ago. After surgery, he showed my husband an x-ray that looked like the bone fragments were put together well. At my appointment one week after surgery, he walked into the room, immediately showing me the x-ray they took just minutes before. He pointed out that the small bone fragment might have fractured along the screw. I asked to see all the x-ray angles that were taken on the day of surgery.
